APPLE AIMS AT REVOLUTION IN TYPES OF INPUT DEVICES

Having persuaded a very satisfying proportion of corporate computer users that the Macintosh is not only a legitimate but also an attractive alternative to what Compaq likes to call the Industry Standard, Apple Computer Inc’s campaign for the next two or three years will be to spearhead a revolution in the types of input devices used to communicate with computers, with the new flatbed scanner just the first: speak gently and calmly to your Macintosh – it is very sensitive and responds badly to raised voices and winces at naughty words.
