Apple is recalling a European USB iPhone charger that was sold between October 2009 and September 2012 which may "overheat and pose a safety risk". Apple said it will exchange the items for free.
It urged consumers who may have purchased the charger to stop using it, even though it only may set on fire in "rare cases".
The particular model was sold to 37 countries, including some in Africa and Asia. However, it was not sold in the UK so British readers are safe from fiery fruit products.
The charger was shipped with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and 4S models. Its model number is A1300.
Last year, Apple recalled some Macbook Air models over a faulty flash sotrage issue.
