Apple is reportedly developing a new iWatch which will be launched in the next six months.
The new watch will use Intel chips as well as the previous version of the iPod Nano.
The gadget will be controlled by the 1.5" touchscreen while Apple’s Siri would allow users to control it through voice commands.
Reports say the device will work in conjunction with iPhone and iPad and features a touchscreen front.
According to Daily Times, The watch lets users send texts and emails to friends, as well as updating their Facebook status while on-the-go.
The device uses bluetooth technology to allow it to communicate with other devices wirelessly.
Apple is also planning to add a small microphone and speaker to the watch.
Recently, Japanese electronics firm Sony had introduced a smartwatch design to accompany mobile phones.
In September 2010, Apple had unveiled the new iPod touch, which features a Retina display, FaceTime video calling, and HD video recording.
