Appian Technology Inc is is shipping its Rendition III Intelligent Graphics Controller to a number of US distributors, including Access Technology, Price Electronics and GTI: Rendition III is based on the graphics subsystem designed by Appian for incorporation into DEC’s DECpc 433 Workstation; it offers resolution of 1,280 by 1,024 with 256 colours and Appian claims that it is five times faster than the previous generation controllers.
