Inprise Inc is developing and marketing its own Application Server software. It’s definitely not responsible for Oracle Corp’s Application Server (CI No 3,471). Sorry if there was any confusion. However it looks like users are going to be grappling with a multitude of Application Server product names just like they did with the much-hyped Universal Server databases. Wonder if it’ll go the same way?
