APOLOGIES FOR THE LATE ARRIVAL OF COMPUTERGRAM

For the benefit of subscribers in the odd corners of the country – Bath, we hear is one – that have not seized up under blankets of snow, we apologise for late arrival of their copies of Computergram – it has been getting as far as the Post Office every night as usual, but with mainline termini like Waterloo completely closed yesterday morning, it has not been getting very much further – and incoming mail has dwindled to a trickle.
