APOLLO THE HIGHEST COMPUTER NEWCOMER TO THE FORTUNE 500

The highest computer newcomer to the Fortune 500 list of the top US manufacturing companies is not Sun Microsystems but Apollo Computer, whcih sneaks in just ahead of Sun at number 454; Sun is in at 463, and also new to the list are Atari Corp at 484 and Western Digital at 499: in the top 100, IBM stays at 4, AT&T slips a place at 8, Unisys jumps 10 places to 36, just pipping DEC, up 26 places to 38th place.
