Apollo Computer Inc, Chelmsford, Massachusetts now claims to hold a 35% share of the electronic design automation workstation market, which it believes to be the largest single segment of the engineering workstation industry – and at the recent Design Automation Conference in Anaheim, California, the company struck deals with LSI Logic and Mentor Graphics to integrate LSI’s Modular Design Environment and Mentor’s IDEA range of electronic design tools with Apollo workstations.
