Following the endorsement of its networking concept by IBM this month, Apollo Computer Inc has stepped up its efforts to licence products including Network Computing System and the Open Dialog user interface with the formalisation of a Portable Software Products Group at the company’s Chelmsford, Massachusetts headquarters: the group will have its own dedicated sales and engineering personnel, and gets the mission to promote the technology to the industry at large; it will also handle the Network Licence Manager and future products.
