3i Infotech’s Premia will support American Physicians Insurance’s (API) accounting, business development, claims, information technology, marketing, physician services, risk management and underwriting departments, as API adds services now and in the future.
Premia is an integrated system that manages all aspects of policy administration and underwriting, rating, policy billing, claims, reinsurance and general ledger accounting.
Cliff Phillips, vice president of information technology at API, said: We knew replacing a highly customized legacy system was going to be difficult.
