APAK launches new core retail banking system

Financial systems specialist APAK has launched a new core retail banking system, 'Aurius', which is designed to support high volume online transaction processing and embedded workflow management.

By CBR Staff Writer

Developed with Microsoft .NET for rapid deployment, APAK claims Aurius is highly scaleable and configurable to suit a multitude of operational requirements. In addition to supporting high volume online transaction processing OLTP and embedded workflow management, Aurius is said to provide an online, real time general ledger.

Through Aurius, in-house specialists claim to have created a system that provides a complete back and front office solution which is fully UK compliant.

Microsoft’s industry partner for retail banking, Ian Wilkinson, said, By developing Aurius on .NET, APAK is able to offer a powerful retail banking system which is robust, secure and reliable whilst minimizing the costs of deployment and management.

APAK claims it has already made its first Aurius sale to a UK based bank and says the system is scheduled to go live by the end of quarter two.
