America Online Inc, which currently carries around 700 million instant messages every day, expects that figure to reach one billion with six months, AOL’s new chief technology officer, Bill Raduchel, said yesterday. Raduchel, previously Sun’s chief strategy officer, took over as CTO from Netscape Communications Corp co-founder Marc Andreessen earlier this month (CI No 3,745).
