America Online Inc is welcoming Microsoft Corp on board as an Internet partner – it’s pushing Explorer as its preferred browser – by turning Bill Gates into a figure of fun, reports the Wall Street Journal. The company is establishing new area devoted to mocking the Microsoft Corp chairman, which plans to put up purported excerpts of Bill Gates’s electronic mail, such as an exchange with his wife, Melinda French, in which I don’t think naming the kid Bob is such a good idea, says the electronic mail supposedly from Ms French.
