AOL HAS BETA VERSION OF AOL INSTANT MESSENGER SERVICE

America Online Inc says it is offering a limited beta release of its AOL Instant Messenger Service, which enables internet users to communicate instantly via private text messages. The service, previously only available to AOL subscribers, notifies the user when previously identified friends or colleagues are online. The software is available for download at www.aol.com.
