AOL HAS 60% OF ONLINE MARKET

When it comes to the online service business the gap between America Online Inc and Microsoft Corp is widening but it is apparently too soon to rule the software giant out all together. Microsoft’s online business accounts for some 12% of the market compared to AOL’s 60%, and according to New York’s Yankee Group, if Microsoft is to succeed in the market it is going to have to take advantage of the fact that it owns the dominant Windows operating system.
