ANONYMOUS BOOK PROMPTS SOFTBANK SHARE PLUMMET

By CBR Staff Writer

A new book, whose title the Financial Times translates as Inside Report on Softbank’s Warped Management, written by an anonymous employee of Japanese software company Softbank Corp, has sent shares in the company plummeting. The book, which apparently sold out immediately it was published last week, criticizes the western style policies initiated by president and founder Masayoshi Son, which have resulted in acquisitions and investments in US companies such as Kingston Technology Co and Ziff-Davis Communications Inc.
