Anite Groupe Plc has a new chief executive officer, John Hawkins, who takes over from November 3. Hawkins comes from Philips NV and also spent time at Digital Equipment Corp. The network services company, once known as Cray Communications, lost its previous chief executive, Jon Richards, along with the chairman and finance director in advance of a stock exchange enquiry into the spectacular collapse of the company’s share price back in April 1995 (CI No 3,230).
