As we went to press, we heard that decision support company Andyne Computing Ltd of Kingston, Ontario, will announce today that it is to purchase its UK distributor Soft Toolrack Ltd. Wokingham, UK-based Soft Toolrack distributes Andyne’s GQL graphical query language query and reporting tool (CI No 3,045), and itself specializes in distributing executive information system, on-line analytical processing, geographical information system and SQL reporting tools, as well as offering services. Soft Toolrack was formed in 1992, and now has 35 employees. It claims to have 300 UK clients. Soft Toolrack will in future be known as Andyne UK Ltd.
