ANDREW NETWORKS BECOMES NLYNX

The assets of Austin, Texas based IBM midrange networking company Andrew Network Products Division have been sold off in a management buyout, and a new company formed under the name NLynx Systems Inc. NLynx absorbs the midrange local area and wide area networking technology and service offerings of Andrew, including Token Ring, Ethernet and Frame Relay products. Financial terms were not disclosed. The company has offices in California and the UK.
