Communications systems equipment and services supplier Andrew Corp of Chicago has acquired a majority interest in the Satcom Pty Ltd group, which includes Satcom Systems and Satcom Installation Services. The South African joint venture will distribute and service the complete range of Andrew’s communication products in sub-Saharan Africa, but Satcom will continue to supply and service systems and equipment from other manufacturers.
