Fike will be responsible for all legal and government affairs, as well as litigation in the areas of employment, contract and intellectual property. She will report to Tom Grudnowski, Fair, Isaac’s CEO. Fike joined Fair, Isaac in October 1999 and has since played an integral role in the legal aspects of the company’s e-commerce product launches and strategic partnerships.

Prior to joining Fair, Isaac, Fike was a partner at the Minneapolis firm of Faegre & Benson, LLP. During her 10 years at the firm, Fike specialized in consumer finance laws and the regulatory issues faced by financial institutions.

Andrea’s strong legal background and knowledge of consumer finance law is a big plus for us, said Grudnowski. She has a thorough knowledge of our business and the regulatory and legal issues that we face, and I am pleased to appoint her to this critical position.

Fike earned a J.D. degree from Stanford Law School in 1987 and a B.A. in political science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She was admitted to the California Bar in 1988 and the Minnesota Bar in 1989. Fike co-chairs the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Banking Committee and chairs the Ad Hoc Committee to Study Minnesota Statutes governing the formation of financial institutions. She is a former adjunct professor at the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.
