Andersen Consulting has been appointed by the Yorkshire Regional Health Authority as a technology partner in a UKP13m five year contract: Andersen is to assume responsibility for the health authority’s entire computer installation and data processing staff; the Yorkshire Health Authority comprises 17 districts and 160 hospitals, and Andersen will maintain records for payment of accounts, salaries, and health statistics.
