US Semiconductor Industry Association chairman Joseph Parkinson reckons that foreign share of Japan’s semiconductor market may have risen modestly in the second quarter. He gave the comments in a letter to US Trade Representative Carla Hills in which he also cautioned the US not be satisfied with the improvement.
