And Unisys Defense Systems Inc has negotiated two contracts worth near $275m with the Federal Aviation Administration to upgrade the air traffic control systems at airports across the United States: under an extension worth $185m, Unisys will carry out the next phase of the Automated Radar Terminal System Interim Support Plan, an extension of the $45m contract awarded in September 1989; the other contract is worth $87.7m to upgrade the air traffic control systems at smaller airports across the United States.
