And Siemens AG and L M Ericsson Telefon AB are to share a $215m contract from the Mannesmann Mobilfunk GmbH digital cellular operations consortium that is to build West Germany’s one commercial cellular network. The order includes cellular exchanges, transmission and reception equipment and radio base stations. The share won by Siemens is as part of a consortium with Philips NV and Robert Bosch GmbH.
