Lotus Development Corp has announced LotusWorks 3.0, designed for entry-level personal computer users, and providing a user interface, enhanced integration among modules, an improved word processor, and context-sensitive Help and tutorial functions: version 3.0 has a redesigned interface and colour screen display with resizeable windows and scroll bars that are said to provide the graphical feel of a Windows environment; Lotus says that the word processor has been enhanced, enabling users to embed graphics into documents and exploit the fonts and attributes; LotusWorks 3.0 requires 640Kb of memory, MS-DOS 3.0 or higher and is compatible with Windows 3.0; it is in beta test and ships this quarter.
