…AND HEWLETT WINS TELE-COMMUNICATIONS SET-TOP PACT

Hewlett-Packard Co announced yesterday that Tele-Communications Inc intends to buy its next-generation digital set-top terminals for compressed digital television. It says it will be working with the Englewood, Colorado cable television operator to develop set-top terminals for use in the first-phase conversion from analogue to digital systems during the next two years.
