Sprint International also announced a joint venture with Asea Brown Boveri AG’s Elektrisk Bureau A/S of Oslo, Norway to sell and distribute data communications products and systems in Scandinavia. The new EB Telenet AS, with offices in Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen, builds on an existing agreement under which the Norwegian company has distributed the Telenet products since 1981. And it has opened London and Amsterdam switching centres for its international SprintNet value-added network, providing local call access to the worldwide net in the two countries.
