And US West International Holdings Inc, Millicom Inc and Fyodorov’s Eye Microsurgery Science & Technology Complex have reached agreement with the Soviet Ministry of Posts & Telecommunications on formation of a joint venture to provide cellular telephone service in Moscow: the Ministry will have 50%, US West, 22%, Millicom, 20%, and the eye clinic 8%; the 450MHz system is to begin service late this year.
