Since 2004, Mr Cempellin has been general manager incharge of nuclear medicine for Philips Medical Systems where his responsibilities included positron emission tomography/computed tomography and positron emission tomography/magnetic resonance imaging.
The company stated that Frank Vorwald will report to Mr Cempellin as vice president of programs for the security systems division.
