Carmel, Indiana-based Anacomp Inc, which has already cut 180 from the payroll at its Xidex Corp acquisition in the the Irvine, California plant making oxide rigid disk platters, is now closing the plant and moving the work to a Xidex plant in Santa Clara to cut costs: the closure will cost another 825 jobs.
