Amtrak will be providing overnight delivery of orders across the country for dabs.com, which has 1.6 million registered customers and sells over 15,000 products from the world’s leading manufacturers such as Sony, Hewlett Packard, Toshiba and Microsoft.

We have a good track record of working with Amtrak in the past and with their help, we expect to improve the customer’s overall experience of dealing with dabs.com through offering greater delivery reliability and a wider choice of services said Dianne Dillon, operations director of dabs.com.

We process over 5,000 orders a day and already our overall standard of customer service has benefited from our ability to access the real time traceability of deliveries made possible by Amtrak’s web integration technology, she added.

Through Amtrak, dabs.com is able to offer its customers a greater choice of services including evening and Saturday deliveries. Initial shipments are totaling 2,500 per night and dabs.com is also taking advantage of Amtrak’s online collections service, making it easier for customers to return goods.
