Amstrad Plc shares have been a dismal market of late, and we hate to think what will happen to them when this one gets out: according to the Daily Telegraph, a man who runs a television shop in Andover has carefully positioned a dustbin lid wired to his television, and is now able to receive Sky Television programmes from the Astra satellite loud and clear – It’s laughable really, he declares, there has been so much talk about all the technology which has gone into perfecting a 60 centimetre dish, but I’m getting a great signal with a 49 centimetre dustbin lid – now I’m going to see if I can get the signal using a Fray Bentos meat tin.
