AMSTRAD PC2386 “DISK PROBLEM” IS BUG IN MS-DOS 4

The hard disk drive problem on the Amstrad PC2386 that has so exercised the more excitable of the public prints has been traced to a bug in Microsoft Corp’s MS-DOS 4 operating system, Amstrad announced Friday, saying that Microsoft has confirmed the existence of the bug.
