AMSTRAD NEGOTIATIONS WITH GPT REACHES ADVANCED STAGE

Amstrad Plc reports that its negotiations for GEC Plessey Telecommunications Ltd to manufacture some of its high-end personal computers at one of its UK factories have reached an advanced stage (CI No 1,067): seems that if agreement is reached, the work will go into the System X former Plessey plant in Liverpool.
