Amstrad Plc’s Amstrad GmbH of Neu-Isenburg, West Germany is hoping to put its parent’s technical problems behind it with substantial price cuts right through the PC-2000 range: 80386 personal computers such as the PC-2386HD now sell for the equivalent of $3,750 a cut of 25%, while other models in the line have been reduced by about $250.
