Amstrad Plc has moved to clear up the confusion over support of its new Intel Corp-manufactured personal computers, which Microscope made rather a meal of last week: Amstrad says that the machines bearing both the Amstrad Professional Series and i Technology by Intel legends will include both dealer hot-line technical support and one year return-to-base warranty carried out by Intel or Intel’s approved third party agents in all Amstrad’s major European and Australian markets; there’s also optional one-year on-site support from the same sources.
