AMR Corp, parent of American Airlines, says its AMR Information Services Inc unit has formed AMRnet Network Services to market the AMRnet data communications network and related services to companies in need of high-performance, cost-effective network services: it has signed Northern Telecom Ltd and Racal Telecommunications Plc’s Racal-Datacom to AMRnet Network Services with further reach into the global communications integration market; AMRnet is designed for organisations with time-critical transaction-oriented applications that require high-capacity, high-performance and high-speed processing.
