AMERITECH TO RE-FILE WITH FCC FOR LONG-DISTANCE APPROVAL

Ameritech Corp says it will amend its filing with the Federal Communications Commission seeking approval to offer long-distance service from its local calling region because some documents were missing and would require amendments or substitutions. It wants the Commission to stop the clock on its application and start it again when everything is in apple pie order.
