AMERITECH TO INTRODUCE ONE-RATE CALLING CARDS

Following a trend toward single rate pricing – as evidenced by AT&T Corp’s move to flat-rate local and long-distance based only on the time of day (CI No 3,283) – Ameritech Corp will introduce pre-paid calling cards good for calls anywhere in the US. The cards, available at the end of the year, will be good for domestic calls regardless of the time or destination. á
