Ameritech Inc is planning to merge its six telecommunications equipment Communications marketing operations – Ameritech, Illinois Bell, Indiana Bell, Michigan Bell, Ohio Bell and Wisconsin Bell Communications – to create a new Ameritech Information Systems better able to meet the needs of large customers.
