Ameritech Inc has joined forces with two Hong Kong firms, New World Development Ltd and Infa Telecom Ltd, to bid for a Groupe Speciale Mobile cellular system licence in the Crown Colony: Ameritech’s two new partners currently operate New World Paging, claimed to be Hong Kong’s fastest-growing paging firm.
