AMERICOTECH DEVELOPMENT ACQUIRES THE MIDWEST OPERATIONS OF TAS

The Ameritech Development Corp subsidiary of the Chicago phone company has acquired the Midwest operations of the Telephone Announcement Systems Inc unit of Marlton, New Jersey-based Audio Information Sciences Inc: the operations include a recorded announcement system in service in Chicago and another being installed in Grand Rapids, Michigan, but Telephone Announcement will be responsible through 1989 for the day-to-day operation of installed systems.
