Mamaroneck, New York-based Semiconductor Packaging Materials Co Inc is boosting capacity at its American Silicon Products subsidiary, which has bought more land at its Providence, Rhode Island plant and plans to boost annual capacity to more than $35m from $18m, adding 10,000 square feet to its existing 18,000 square foot facility. The additional capacity is expected to be ready early next year and is for reclaiming 8 silicon wafers.
