Advanced Micro Devices Inc says it will preview a working version of its clone of Intel Corp’s 80486 at Comdex in Las Vegas this week, adding that it has the capability to start shipping parts within six weeks: the company claims that its part can match the performance of the fastest 80486s Intel has out.
