Advanced Micro Devices Inc is on target to begin shipping its K6 microprocessor next quarter and expects initial shipments of hundreds of thousands of units, its vice-president of external affairs Ben Anixter told the conference. He expects K6 pricing to be about 25% lower than that on Pentium Pro.
