AMD has reported revenue of $1.64bn for the fourth quarter of 2009, an increase of 42% compared to $1.16bn for the same period last year. Revenue increased 18% sequentially.
The company posted an operating income of $1.29bn, compared to an operating loss of $1.274bn for the same period last year. In the third quarter of 2009, operating loss was $77m.
For the quarter ended December 26, 2009, net income was $1.18bn, or $1.52 per share, compared to a net loss attributable to AMD common stockholders of $1.43bn or $2.36 per share. For the third quarter of 2009, the net loss attributable to AMD common stockholders was $128m.
For the year ended December 26, 2009, AMD reported revenue of $5.403bn, compared to $5.808bn for fiscal 2008. Net income attributable to AMD common stockholders was $304m, compared to a net loss attributable to AMD common stockholders of $3.129bn last year.

AMD expects revenue to be down seasonally for the first quarter of 2010.
