AMD NAMES NEW UNIT VANTIS CORP

Advanced Micro Devices Inc, which in March last year said it would turn its programmable logic division into a wholly-owned subsidiary to give it the flexibility and focus of a small company, has decided to call the unit Vantis Corp.
