Advanced Micro Devices has distributed more than $2.9m to domestic employees in the company’s profit sharing payout for the first half of 1991: the distribution, approximately half in cash and half in deferred compensation, was based on AMD’s performance through June 30, 1991, when the company reported net income of $21.5m on $571m in sales.
