Specifically, AMD is seeking documents related any marketing deals or product comparisons between Intel and Microsoft, the world’s largest semiconductor and software companies respectively.
Microsoft is one of dozens of companies that AMD has subpoenaed for its case. AMD claims Intel acted illegally to secure its more than 85% market share in the microprocessor industry. AMD said Intel used exclusionary business methods with its customers to prevent them from buying chips from AMD. Intel has denied any wrongdoing.
